After selecting eBook you would like to read, click the book, then click on "Borrow eBook" below the cover. Then you will be directed to a public library that has that eBook. Scroll down this page for directions on how to easily receive a FREE LIBRARY CARD so that you can access the eBooks.

You're set! Almost. Follow these steps to get the APP or
use this link to access Sora on your chromebook.
Download and install the free Sora app from the app store on your device ( Google Play Store, Apple App store, or go to soraapp.com). Sora works on computers, tablets, and smartphones.
Browse the "Explore" tab to enjoy books anytime, anywhere! Students may check out 3 books at a time for a loan period of 2 weeks. Look at the tutorial below to link to your public libraries so you can explore both our school collection and the Southern NJ Library Consortium collection. Learn how to return and renew early.
Close the book and go to your Shelf to see all of your books. From there, you can:
Click "Open Book" or "Open Audiobook" to read or listen.
Click "Options" to renew or return the book, access your notes and highlights, and more.

Sora also allows seamless access to your public library's collection, too! Expand your selection by learning how to link your public library account. Watch the short tutorial above to add your public library collection to our school's collection of digital books. Choose to add South Jersey Regional Library Cooperative so you can search both collections in Sora.
Additionally, you can learn about reading settings, as well as accessibility features such as how to set Open Dyslexic Font, enable high-contrast mode and use text to speech apps.

Free eBooks in Universal School Library's
National Emergency Library from Internet Archive:
1) First, Create an Account at https://archive.org/account/signup
2) MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE PASSWORD YOU CREATED! After you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email from Internet Archive and will need to verify your email address. Check your email for their message and then click on the link that Internet Library sent to you to verify your email address.
3) Then you will need to login to continue.
4) Your login will work for all of these links below. As you can see below, there are many different areas to search for books, including by reading level. Some books you will need to check out by clicking on "Borrow" and some are community books which means they do not need to be checked out.
