The Lost Boy By: Dave Pelzer Submitted by: Shannon W.
Plot: This whole story is about Dave. Dave is put in foster care because of his terrible life at his parents house. Dave goes through many foster homes, but will always remember one of them in particular. To him, I guess, it was special
Why Read? This book is most likely worth reading. I first read A Child Called It which was very good. Then some friends told me to read the sequel which is The Lost Boy. Too me, this book was a great read, and I thought that I would recommend it to other students. Our media center has both books and they both have Accelerated Reader quizzes.
Comments: I would suggest reading A Child Called It before this book. Otherwise you may not understand The Lost Boy as well, since it is the sequel.
