Plot: While some people might not think about putting a kitten in a library drop bin, that is exactly what someone did. They put an eight week old kitten in a book return slot on the coldest night of the year. This is the story of how Vivki Myron saved that kitten, battled breast cancer, broke free from an alcoholic husband, and won many other internal and external challenges. All the while with Dewey by her side to give her a helpful game of hide-and-seek Why Read? This is probably the best nonfiction book I have ever read and I think that it is extremely worth reading because most people can learn a lot from this cat. Comments: It is also sad, I cried at least two times and I will always remember it. |
