Plot: Five students all walked into detention, but only four walked out. This book is about the four remaining students who now have to live their lives being investigated for murder, and all of the way they are being exposed. Each fault is capitalized, and stared at immensely. Trying to fit in, these kids just have to pretend that nothing happened, and come to terms with "Everyone has secrets, right?" Why Read? One of Us is lying is a great book, and it is such an interesting read. I couldn't put the book down when I picked it up, and believe that people who are interested in murder mysteries would love it. I read the sequel, One of Us is Next, and it was just as great. The author, really knows how to plot and write an amazing murder mystery. |

Plot: Gabie and Drews co-worker, Kayla, goes missing. They search for her, but everyone thinks she's dead. This exciting thriller is slow-paced and amazing for anybody who wants to get into the genre.
Why Read? This was worth reading because it's written in an interesting style. Each chapter is from a different persons point of view. This is also a great slow-burn.

Plot: The leaving starts of 11 years later after 6 teens went missing. The teens have reappeared except for one of them. The teens have lost their memory and, can't remember what happened.
Why Read? This book is worth reading because at first, it starts slow. but, as you get into it The plot and the character development get better and better.
Comments: This author also makes other really good books like The Possible.

So it's up to the two of them to figure out the problem. I really suggest you read this book because it's a really good book.
Why Read? The book is worth reading because it is a really good mystery and a good book. I personally like mystery books so if you like a good mystery, then this is the book for you.
Comments: If you start reading this book, definitely make sure you finish it.

They use the evidence and investigate without any help and what they find out is a whole lot farther from the end, and the culprits that made the accident happen are closer to them than they think.
Why Read? This book is so thrilling and suspenseful it makes you read and read and never stop reading because you want to find out the end so badly.
Comments: I really recommend this book

Having two very different people come together and fix real life problems makes for a very interesting plot. This book goes into detail about how teenagers really act and how high school bullies make their lives completely different.

Plot: There is a kid name Theodore Boone and his parent are both lawyers. He has his own little office and is getting ready to watch a trial on the Duffy couple. He loves to golf on the weekends with his dad and tutor some kids on the weekdays. When tutoring Theo is told a little background information about the trial that might prove that Mr. Duffy killed his wife. Theo goes and talks to a illegal immigrant that was working on the golf course the day Mrs. Duffy was killed. Mr. claims that he was golfing and he was not at his house, but little does he know that and illegal immigrant on lunch break was watching.
Why Read? This book is worth reading because not only is it really interesting, but it is the first book in a series. I really like this series and I can reach my AR goal by reading these. Theo is practically a 13 year old lawyer. He helps all his peers out including the teachers and staff in his school. Through out the series Theo is solving and working on cases.
Comments: I like this series and I think if I didn't try this series out, I wouldn't have made my AR goal. I don't just read this for AR but I also read because I love mystery and the cases are interesting.
